Im a railroad welder/machinest by trade.
I learned my woodworking from my brother in law, working in his cabinet shop were i made china hutches and corner cabinets.
I got back into woodworking to keep my wife from buying expensive home furnishings, since then my tool collection and skills have grown. At work. 
At play, working on the next project.
